UltraFlex Premium Gloss Enamel is a durable water-based coating formulated to provide a smooth, hard
wearing gloss finish on correctly prepared interior and exterior surfaces.
It combines the appearance and durability expected from a quality enamel with the convenience of a water
based formulation, offering low odour, easier clean-up and faster drying than traditional solvent-based
enamels.

FINISH
High Gloss
The gloss finish provides a smooth, attractive and washable surface suitable for areas requiring increased
durability and easier cleaning.
Surface preparation is particularly important, as gloss finishes may highlight imperfections in the underlying
surface.
SPREAD RATE
Approximately 10–12 m² per litre per coat, depending on:
• Surface porosity
• Surface texture
• Application method
• Existing colour
• Product colour
• Surface condition
Actual coverage may vary according to site and application conditions.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of two coats is recommended for an even, durable and consistent finish.
Additional coats may be required depending on:
• The surface being coated
• Existing and selected colours
• Surface porosity
• Preparation quality
• Required finish and opacity
Apply only to correctly prepared and suitably primed surfaces.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Before applying Premium Gloss Enamel:
• Remove dust, dirt, grease and surface contamination.
• Remove loose, flaking or poorly adhering coatings.
• Sand glossy existing coatings to provide a suitable key.
• Remove rust from metal surfaces and apply the appropriate metal primer.
• Repair defects and allow repairs to cure and dry.
• Ensure timber is dry, stable and suitably prepared.
• Prime bare, porous or repaired areas with the appropriate UltraFlex primer.
• Confirm that the surface is clean, dry and stable before coating.
Previously painted surfaces should be tested for adhesion and compatibility before application.
APPLICATION
Premium Gloss Enamel may be applied by:
• Brush
• Roller
• Suitable spray equipment
Stir thoroughly before and during use.
Apply in even coats and avoid excessive spreading, heavy film build or repeated brushing once the coating
has started to dry.
Follow the applicable Technical Data Sheet for detailed surface preparation, application, drying and recoating
instructions.

COLOUR INFORMATION
Premium Gloss Enamel is available in selected UltraFlex colours.
Special colours may be available subject to minimum quantities and manufacturing requirements.
Digital colours displayed on the website are only a guide. Final colour selection should be confirmed using
an approved physical colour sample wherever possible.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Once fully cured, coated surfaces may be cleaned using a soft cloth or sponge with mild detergent and clean
water.
Avoid:
• Harsh abrasive cleaners
• Aggressive solvents
• Scouring pads
• Excessive scrubbing before full cure
The coating should be allowed to cure fully before regular washing or heavy use.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
• Do not apply to dirty, damp, unstable or poorly prepared surfaces.
• Do not apply directly over rust or unsuitable bare metal.
• Use the correct primer for the substrate and exposure conditions.
• Do not apply during rain or when rain is expected before the coating has dried sufficiently.
• Avoid application in excessively cold, hot or humid conditions.
• Gloss finishes may highlight surface imperfections.
• Colour and coverage may vary according to the surface and application conditions.
• Allow sufficient curing time before washing or subjecting the coating to heavy wear.
• Premium Gloss Enamel is not intended for continuously immersed surfaces.
